Depuis le début du festival, les groupes programmés en ouverture sur la Scène du Village participent au Tremplin GES, dont le vainqueur sera désigné à l’issue de cette édition. ARH avait donc une belle carte à jouer. Profitant d’une météo encore clémente, le groupe a livré une prestation dynamique et pleine de fraîcheur. Les nombreux spectateurs rassemblés devant la scène ont réservé un excellent accueil à cette formation qui a parfaitement relevé le défi.

Originaire de Los Angeles, Steel Panther est devenu une référence du glam metal grâce à un univers volontairement décalé, inspiré du hard rock des années 1980. Entre humour, virtuosité et autodérision, le groupe propose un spectacle où la musique et le divertissement ne font qu’un.

Après avoir manqué leur passage à Zurich, Showmedialive avait particulièrement hâte de découvrir Steel Panther sur scène. Le groupe n’a pas déçu. Fidèle à sa réputation, il propose un véritable spectacle à l’américaine où tout semble parfaitement orchestré. Les quatre musiciens sont accompagnés de danseuses évoluant sur des barres de pole dance, tandis que les costumes, les attitudes et les références au hard rock des années 80 plongent immédiatement le public dans cette époque mythique. Un show spectaculaire, drôle et remarquablement maîtrisé qui prépare idéalement l’arrivée de la tête d’affiche suivante.

Originaire d’Australie, Airbourne est aujourd’hui l’un des groupes les plus emblématiques du hard rock moderne. Fidèle à l’héritage des grands noms du rock australien, le groupe s’est forgé une réputation internationale grâce à des concerts explosifs où l’énergie ne retombe jamais.

Hard rock pur, riffs percutants, rythmiques puissantes et une présence scénique impressionnante font d’Airbourne une véritable machine de scène.

Pendant que les derniers éclairs illuminaient encore le ciel au-dessus de Saint-Julien-en-Genevois, Airbourne faisait monter la température sur la Grande Scène. Dès les premières notes, le groupe australien a livré ce que le public était venu chercher : du rock à l’état pur.
Impossible de rester immobile. Les riffs de guitare résonnent avec une puissance impressionnante, la batterie martèle un rythme infernal et Joel O’Keeffe enchaîne les allers-retours sur scène avec une énergie inépuisable. Comme à son habitude, les canettes de bière volent au-dessus du public, ajoutant encore un peu plus de folie à une prestation déjà totalement débridée.
Malgré une météo devenue particulièrement menaçante, personne ne voulait perdre une seule seconde de ce concert exceptionnel. Une véritable démonstration de hard rock qui restera parmi les grands moments de cette édition 2026.

Malheureusement, la soirée ne connaîtra pas la fin espérée. Alors que les orages redoublent d’intensité et que les éclairs se rapprochent dangereusement du site, les organisateurs prennent la seule décision possible : annuler le concert de The Inspector Cluzo afin de garantir la sécurité des artistes, des équipes techniques et du public.
Une décision forcément décevante pour les nombreux spectateurs venus assister à cette dernière prestation, mais parfaitement compréhensible au regard des conditions météorologiques. Après avoir vibré toute la soirée au son du rock, chacun quitte le festival avec des souvenirs plein la tête… et quelques vêtements bien trempés.
La pluie aura finalement eu le dernier mot sur cette troisième journée de Guitare en Scène 2026. Pourtant, malgré les orages, cette soirée restera comme l’une des plus marquantes du festival grâce à une programmation exceptionnelle, des découvertes de grande qualité et des concerts qui auront fait vibrer les festivaliers jusqu’au dernier moment.
Le rendez-vous est déjà pris pour demain, avec l’espoir de retrouver un ciel plus clément afin de conclure cette édition 2026 en beauté.

After missing the opportunity to photograph Steel Panther in Zurich, Showmedialive was particularly excited to finally experience the band live. They certainly did not disappoint. True to their reputation, Steel Panther delivered a full-scale American-style show where every detail seemed carefully choreographed. The four musicians were joined on stage by dancers performing on pole dance bars, while the costumes, stage attitude and countless references to 1980s hard rock immediately transported the audience back to the golden age of glam metal. It was a spectacular, entertaining and brilliantly executed performance that perfectly prepared the crowd for the evening’s headliner. Avec plaisir ! As lightning continued to illuminate the sky above Saint-Julien-en-Genevois, Airbourne took control of the Main Stage and turned the evening into a true rock celebration. Standing still simply wasn’t an option. Crushing guitar riffs echoed across the festival grounds, the drums drove the show with relentless intensity, and Joel O’Keeffe raced across the stage with seemingly endless energy. As thunderstorms intensified and lightning strikes became increasingly frequent around the festival site, the organisers were forced to make the only possible decision: cancel The Inspector Cluzo’s performance to ensure the safety of the artists, technical crews and festivalgoers.
Although disappointing for the many fans waiting for the concert, the decision was fully justified given the extreme weather conditions. After an unforgettable evening filled with outstanding rock performances, everyone left the festival with lasting memories… and more than a few rain-soaked clothes.
In the end, Mother Nature had the final word on this third day of Guitare en Scène 2026. Yet despite the storms, this evening will undoubtedly be remembered as one of the festival’s strongest, thanks to an exceptional line-up, remarkable discoveries and unforgettable performances that kept the audience captivated until the very last moment.
The festival continues tomorrow, and with a little luck, calmer skies will provide the perfect setting to bring this 2026 edition to a memorable conclusion.
