Amy Macdonald à guichets fermés

Ce soir, c’est dans la salle The Hall à Zurich qu’Amy Macdonald se produit à guichets fermés. Un public venu nombreux pour voir une artiste qui se fait relativement rare sur scène, preuve de l’attente et de l’attachement qu’elle suscite.

Avant l’arrivée de la tête d’affiche, la soirée débute avec Better Joy et ses musiciens. L’artiste tente de faire bouger la salle et d’encourager le public à danser. La tâche n’est pas simple : l’ambiance reste plutôt réservée en ce début de soirée. Malgré cela, le public répond par de chaleureux applaudissements, et à nos yeux, la prestation a été appréciée.

Amy Macdonald entre en scène et ouvre le concert avec “Is This What You’ve Been Waiting For?”, enchaîne avec “Dream On”** puis “The Hudson”, avant de s’adresser au public avec un simple et sincère « Bonsoir Zurich », puis a enchainer avec quelques phrase avant de continuer sont repertoire avec “Spark“ .

Le début du concert reste relativement calme. Peu de cris à son arrivée, quelques applaudissements, et un public majoritairement assis. Une atmosphère posée, presque intime, qui contraste avec l’énergie que l’on pourrait attendre d’une salle complète.

Avec une setlist de 16 titres, complétée par 3 morceaux en rappel, Amy Macdonald déroule un concert maîtrisé, alternant moments fédérateurs et passages plus intimistes à la guitare acoustique.

Révélée en 2007 avec le tube international *This Is The Life*, elle s’est imposée comme l’une des voix majeures de la scène folk-rock européenne. Originaire d’Écosse, auteure-compositrice autodidacte, elle séduit par une écriture sincère et une voix immédiatement reconnaissable, à la fois chaleureuse et puissante.

Au fil des albums, elle a su évoluer sans jamais perdre son authenticité, construisant une carrière solide et fidèle à son identité artistique. Sur scène, son énergie naturelle et sa proximité avec le public font toute la différence : entre hymnes fédérateurs et moments plus intimistes, elle crée une véritable connexion avec son audience.

Amy Macdonald – Sold Out in Zurich

Tonight, at The Hall in Zurich, Amy Macdonald performed to a sold-out crowd. A large audience turned out to see an artist who appears relatively rarely on stage, proof of the anticipation and strong connection she inspires.

Before the headliner took the stage, the evening began with Better Joy and her band. She tried to get the crowd moving and encourage them to dance. It wasn’t an easy task, as the atmosphere remained rather reserved at the start of the night. Nevertheless, the audience responded with warm applause, and from our perspective, her performance was well received.

Amy Macdonald stepped onto the stage and opened the show with “Is This What You’ve Been Waiting For?”, followed by “Dream On” and “The Hudson”, before greeting the audience with a simple and sincere “Bonsoir Zurich,” adding a few more words before continuing her set with “Spark.”

The beginning of the concert was relatively calm. There were few cheers when she arrived, some applause, and a mostly seated audience. A relaxed, almost intimate atmosphere that contrasted with the energy one might expect from a full house.

With a setlist of 16 songs, completed by 3 encore tracks, Amy Macdonald delivered a well-crafted performance, alternating between anthemic, crowd-pleasing moments and more intimate acoustic guitar passages.

Revealed in 2007 with the international hit This Is The Life, she established herself as one of the leading voices of the European folk-rock scene. Originally from Scotland, the self-taught singer-songwriter captivates with her sincere songwriting and instantly recognizable voice—both warm and powerful.

Over the years, she has evolved without ever losing her authenticity, building a strong and consistent career true to her artistic identity.
